Question Blocks

Every quiz in QuizFlow Labs is built from a sequence of blocks inside the Questions step. This page maps the palette so you can pick the right block for your signal, then jump into the dedicated guides for more detail.

Block palette overview

• Text: Collect open-ended responses (short or long). Use Answer Key scoring when you need exact matches, and optionally show immediate right/wrong feedback.
• Multiple Choice: Single-select by default with optional multi-select, tags, scoring, Jump Logic, and completion routing. Use the Settings cog on the block to open the Multiple Choice settings panel for selection mode, scoring, style, labels, and randomization. For picture-based answers, switch style to Media card. • Ranking: Order options by preference to capture true priority and trade-offs. Supports Rank all and Top N behavior. See the Ranking block guide.
• Dropdown: Compact single-select list with the same scoring, tags, and Jump Logic behavior as single-select Multiple Choice. See the Dropdown block guide.
• Choice Buttons: Compact chat-style choices that mirror Multiple Choice for scoring, Answer Key, immediate feedback, tags, and logic.
• Yes / No: Binary qualifier with distinct yes/no tags, scoring, Answer Key, immediate feedback, and Jump Logic hooks. See the Yes / No block guide.
• Scale: Numeric slider questions with optional labels and scoring.
• Question split media override (Full-Page Split): Eligible question blocks can override the Interface Settings split media image per question from Block Settings > Split Media. This is useful when each question needs its own supporting visual.
• Card/Carousel step: One or more cards with optional CTAs, perfect for storytelling or CTA-heavy experiences.
• Product Cards (Pro): A pricing-focused card variant for tailored offers with Price, Compare-at price, Billing suffix, and badge support. See the Product Cards block guide.
• YouTube Step: Embed a single video plus a CTA, useful for onboarding or educational flows.

Ranking block

The Ranking block is a dedicated block type for ordered answers where priority matters.

• Use it when respondents must rank options in preference order, not just select one or many.
• Configure Rank all or Top N depending on whether you need a full ordering or only the highest priorities.
• Use standard Multiple Choice when order does not matter.

Step-by-step

1. Open the Questions step in any quiz.
2. Pick a block from the palette that matches the signal you need.
3. Fill in prompts, options, tags, scoring, or Jump Logic as required.
4. Reorder blocks to shape the flow before moving on to Completion.

Tips

• Describe every block with a clear prompt so respondents understand what to answer.
• Tag or score each option intentionally; the derived values travel through Jump Logic, completion copy, and exports.
• Use the Agent Step when you need GPT-generated variables, conversations, or richer routing before completion.
